Thank you for asking! "Draco Alchemicus" is an allegory of Christ's love for the soul, modeled on the Song of Songs. So how does Damian defang the Dragon? The same way Christ saves his bride from sin! If you are curious for more backstory, check out our website, especially the "Behind the Scenes" subpage to "Draco Alchemicus." While a fictitious work, the major goal of "Draco Alchemicus" expresses philosophical and social commentary on human nature and modern challenges through the narrative framework of the story. I happens to love stories like this so I look forward to reading it.

Had a few questions and pardon me if I misunderstood something:

What specific truths or insights about human nature/society does the story aim to expose through its allegorical portrayal?

How does the work seek to "defang the Dragon"? What kinds of deceptions or false narratives might it aim to counter through the narrative? I know you mentioned that the Dragon is akin to Satan himself so the question could also be asked how the story relates to defeating Satan in allegorical tale.

What inspirations or influences from other allegorical/fictional works like Animal Farm did you draw on in constructing "Draco Alchemicus"? I have read quite a few alchemical texts over the years, speaking of that. Can't say I understand most of it as it is almost always written in some obfuscated/symbolic language that often goes over my head. Recently I have enjoyed reading Evola's book on Hermeticism in which he touches on alchemy, among other things.

Without spoiling the plot, what do you see as the overall message or theme the story conveys about human reality?

What real-world issues or debates do you hope the work might illuminate or add to through its symbolic fictional lens?

Are there any pre-existing philosophical/social theories the story draws from or aims to contribute to?

Not my story... I'll have to defer questions about authorial intent to the authors.

Niels Bohr was also famous for telling Einstein to 'Stop telling God what to do.'

Bohr recognised quite clearly that the plasma physics being uncovered or rediscovered back in the 20's corresponded exactly to the Far Eastern Tau and Eastern Vedanta.

This not only proves that plasma physics is the horse to back scientifically, but the ancients had it right and that time is cyclic... we're due to return to the 'whole' state. Puts the church in a rather awkward position.

Alchemy, hermeticism and eastern/christian esoterism all share the same fundamental truths. The universe is electric.

The dragon is the electric Birkeland current between planets, tornados ripping towns apart, thunderbolts crashing down/up, and the Kundalini lying at the base of the human spine, with the power to destroy a person, or give them the keys to the universe.
